The location is excellent, right in the midst of everything. However, it can get noisy until around 10 pm. The bungalow is cluttered; I prefer minimalism. The locked freezer is inconvenient. Last year, the bed and AC were upstairs, despite not effectively cooling the downstairs living area, I preferred it that way. We only used the AC at night, and given the small space, it was sufficient. Now, with the bed and AC relocated next to the entrance, cooling downstairs has improved, but it has limited the living area. Moreover, my early morning routine of making coffee before surfing risks waking my partner due to the proximity of the bed. Nosara faces water shutdowns; the trip began with the city turning off water in the evenings once or twice a week, to daily shutdowns from 6 or 7 pm until 8 am by the end. Dian and others plan to install a water tank, which will help but not solve the problem. Despite challenges, communication with Dian remained pleasant.

The place is decorated so nicely. The host is responsive and comes quickly to fix whatever is needed. The place is loud especially on the weekend busy corner and a lot of sound gets in. Nice location though

The place felt very cluttered and not really clean. Then there was NO WATER out of any tap or faucet. We knew it might be slow or intermittent as Nosara is struggling with water, but not a drop to bathe in after a long day of travel, and still the next morning nothing! We had to relocate. Thank goodness we found a beautiful spot down the road with water backup! Now we’re waiting for our refund which is problematic as she said she would fully refund me but has only given back a third! Ugh

Great location within a 5 minute walk to the beach with the mini market across the street and many restaurants within a couple of minute walk.
