nice place to stay. the listing needs to update some of the photos of the outside of the house since a new building is now blocking some of the views of the beach. public access is also closed right down the beach which was a bummer to find out when we arrived.

I was expecting nicer for the price we paid, as there are significant maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but it was a good vacation anyway. The hot tub worked well and got a lot of use while we were there! The location is right next to the Lighthouse access, which is a great bike ride. Beds are pretty comfortable, the decks have nice views as long as you’re wearing shoes. The wind off the ocean is wonderful, we left the sliding doors open at night to listen to the ocean. Great restaurants in the area! Beach access is problematic as the access at the end of the road is closed indefinitely. You can ride bikes to the beach access near the lighthouse (or take a quick drive) and that beach has some good shells on it.

This trip was one for the books and our first time with Vacasa. Our initial AirBnb ended up having no gas and no hot water, along with a leaky spot (due to the rain) in the kitchen- none of these were on Vacasa, but rather the owner. The house itself was gorgeous with amazing views. After several back and forth the first morning there, in which they could not guarantee the issue would be fixed, I contacted AirBnb to intervene. Once this occurred, I can say Vacasa stepped up and was super helpful and supportive!!! The reservations team contacted us and gave us several options to choose to move to (which we had agreed to do, we needed to shower and cook after all!). The first choice ended up not being available due to elevator issues and lack of heat. But the third choice was awesome!!! Wind Chimes, in Avon is where we ended up finally. Direct boardwalk access to the beach, super clean, comfy beds, awesome gameroom, Pool, and Hot tub. Highly Recommend this house!

Great location, privacy on all sides of the house, with a large wooded lot in front with lots of birds , almost like a bird sanctuary. Love the proximity to the beach . Easy access to the beach , definitely going to book this rental again in the future.
