As the cottage has 6 separate beds (1 double and 5 singles) work groups also find this a great affordable option without compromising on space. The Shippon is a 2 storey property with a private entrance. It is one of 5 cottages on our site and is attached to the Linhay. You access the cottage via a small porch (practical for small muddy wellies or work boots). The living room has enough comfortable sofa space for the whole group to sit together and chat or watch some TV. There is an electric heater so you can stay cosy while you relax. There is a well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob. The cupboards have crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans. Everything you need for a family meal or perhaps a bit of baking for a special occasion. There is a dishwasher to save you time and a washer/dryer solely for use by guests in the Shippon. There is a bright sunroom with additional seating and the sliding doors allow you to access a raised patio area. There is seating available if the weather is fine and you would like to BBQ, sit with a glass of wine or relax after a day at work. At the back of the property there is a dining room with table and chairs for 7 and a high chair can be requested if required. If you are needing to work during your trip then this separate area can provide the perfect space for flipping open the laptop and joining a call or completing a project in peace and quiet. The back of the cottage also houses the family snug/second living room with a large corner sofa and TV screen for watching DVDs (this TV has no aerial signal so is only suitable for DVDs). There is also a useful cloakroom with toilet and sink. The final space downstairs is the twin bedroom with en-suite. Unusually this en-suite is a complete bathroom with toilet, sink and bath with shower over. Upstairs there is a bright double bedroom, a triple bedroom and the family bathroom (toilet, sink and bath with shower over). A travel cot can be provided for the double room.
