Everything was great, the lake view was perfect , cozy and comfortable place to relax . Also, Lisa and Deb were really polite and friendly and very responsive when we need them .

Very nice house set on a beautiful lake. Fall colors were at there peak (Oct 23-27). House is very well equipped and very comfortable. Close to great hiking (Roan Mountain, Close Mountain) and biking. Lisa/Deborah were very responsive and helpful with any questions and recommendations. Watauga Lake is beautiful and likely tons of fun in the summer. Note it's not totally secluded (hear some traffic from road across the cove; and street lights on at night through the woods), but a great place to relax on the deck/dock/in the house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I wasn't going to write this review because the experience that I had with Deborah, the property manager, was FABULOUS, and I wish she was a decision maker. It started lit with us driving 15hrs and getting in late and keypad not working. Once we were in, the house looked beautiful but as we went to settle in rooms, we noticed that there was no TVs in any bedroom. Extremely disappointing. Nothing explained in Home description. Then as we finally are fixing to lay down and get some much needed rest, there were Stunk bugs everywhere in master room. They were on ceiling, walls, blinds, they were on bed pillows. I understand that we are in wilderness, but this is unacceptable. This wasn't a few getting in, this was infestation. We just got home and I refused to let anything in our home until shaked and washed and I have already found some. Absolutely terrible. Then we had decided to do our vow renewal onsite when we booked because the pictures of home and landscaping were beautifu

We knew we were going to enjoy this home when we walked through the kitchen in to the great room flooded with sunshine shining through the windows. This is a great home for gathering which spills over to the expansive deck. The fire table area, with its privacy curtains, is a great place to hang out while others watch movies or sports in the great room. We cooked meals on the grill and enjoyed them, with the sun setting, enhancing the experience! The dock area was spacious and inviting and would have used it more if the temperatures were a bit warmer. Others in our group commented: “Comfortable house with great outdoor spaces and beautiful views. Great fire table on covered patio, very comfy, especially on chilly nights.” “Thought house was very nice and comfy with plenty of amenities.” “Found it comfortable and accommodating.” In addition, Deborah and Lisa were fantastic to work with which enhanced our Airbnb experience! We are already planning to return next Fall!
