The place is incredibly homey and cozy. Dean was very friendly, helpful and communicative, and we felt right at home as soon as we got in. We had plans to dine out, but ended up cooking and dining at home everyday: the kitchen is well stocked and appointed, and we just wanted to relax by the fireplace after a day of skiing. We’ve stayed in other places in Kirkwood, but this is by far our favorite, we can’t wait to be back next season.

This is a very cozy and cute cabin. Close location to ski lifts and ski shuttle. The place was clean, the kitchen well-equipped, nice bathroom and the beds comfortable. Dean was a great host, very easy to communicate with.

I have been staying up in various cabins in Tahoe for over 30 years, and Dean's cabin was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The cabin is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need, and feels like home. The beds (I was sleeping in one of the twin beds) were very comfortable. The location is great, few minutes to walk to the Timber Creek lift. Dean was an attentive host who clearly cared about our stay being the best that it could be. Will definitely book again next chance I get!

The cabin was an easy walk to the lifts so it was really nice to park our car once and then not need it the rest of the weekend. Dean was a very responsive host! It took a while to warm the house but once warm it was cozy.
