Enjoyed a lovely couple of days in the apartment on a retreat ready for the new year. The place was exactly as it looked in the pics, beautifully laid out, everything you need, gorgeous views, homely but like a treat at the same time. Jean was so lovely and was on it with communication and keys and showing me round, she also made herself available to me if I needed anything - which I didn't because it was so thoughtfully planned out and ready. Thank you Jean!

Jean is a very friendly and outgoing host. The place has a fantastic view, my apartment was upstairs, Jean and her husband Lew live downstairs. You often see them when you leave the property, and they're always happy to chat or greet you. A weekly cleaning is included in the price. Great big couch in the living room/kitchen, very comfy and large bed in separate bedroom. There is only a narrrow balcony to sit on a bench. I missed having a bit more outside space. But then again, just open the porch door with the incredible view and it is as if you were sitting outside. And you're at the Simon's Town beach in a 5 min. walk. I spent 3 happy months in the spring 2023.
