PROs- The stay, in terms of location, room quality, view, expected amenities, etc was good. Staying in the superior room, the view is very scenic .. if lucky the snow clad Himalayas is visible from the spacious balcony during the day (In summer it's difficult due to fog, but during winter I have heard it's very clear). The room itself is very spacious, with expected basic amenities, hot water, kettle, tv, etc. They have a restaurant that has a pretty decent menu.. Food was good. CONs: During my planned trips, I always prefer staying in a place that offer breakfast along with the room. if they have multiple options and have to pay separately for breakfast inclusive package, I do that as it is very convenient and easy, especially in the morning. So I had specifically selected this place as they offer breakfast ( mentioned free in description in Airbnb at the the time of booking, screenshot available). However, only while checking-in (Fully prepaid) did they tell me, breakfast is not included. Travelling with an infant and as a family, I did not go to argue as I did not want to ruin the trip with any sort of negativity. While checking out, I showed the screenshot of the description where it is mentioned free breakfast. The manager took a photo of this .. to be shared with his boss. Now .. i am no freeloader. By God's Grace we are financially capable of providing for our family. We do not waste food. We do not stuff ourselves with food. We are just planners who plan our trips in our own way ensuring minimal wastage of time and maximum fun. We go out of our own way to buy things from locals or rather spend money without much bargaining for the benefit of supporting our local tourism dependent citizens. Hence, it was pretty dissappointing that this happened with us. We spent additional INR 700 elsewhere for breakfast. During the trip I bought a tiny doll for my daughter that cost INR250 but that didn't disappoint me cos it was earned by the seller in a genuine way.. He told me how much it cost, though I knew It probably should be much cheaper, I wanted to help his business.. So I did not negotiate and paid for it. The hotel guys could have upfront charged additional for breakfast and I would have paid. but you mention it's included( free) and change your words when it is time to deliver. That's cheating and that's dissappointing..

Neat and clean hotel rooms. Good for 1 or 2 day stay. Little on the costly side especially considering that no meal is included in the price.
