Gorgeous place, in a secluded community with a beautiful swimming pool. Home was well equipped, spacious, very clean and had everything you could ask for. Enjoyed the place thoroughly. Steve and his crew are very responsive and proactive with aspects of our stay. Book without hesitation.

Nice, comfortable house. Very well kept and equipped. Close to the beach and right across the street from a small convenience store and burger joint. Great host.

This is our second time staying at the point in the last 4 months and it does NOT disappoint. If you want to just get away from the tourist scene and unwind, this is the place! Steve is incredibly responsive and we’ve made a good friend through the process. The place is amazing; modern, feels right at home and private. Unless we travel to a different part of CR, this is where we’ll always come. Avellanas is very rural and almost family oriented! We’ve made so many friends here, from locals to people passing like us. Book this place, you won’t be disappointed!!

This is how an Airbnb should be!!! Beautiful, clean, easy to get in, safe, and fun vacation decor vibes. Check in was clearly explained and never had a reason to speak to the host. I have stayed in MANY airbnbs and this is the most well stocked home i have ever rented… paper towels, laundry detergent, nutrabullet, hydro flask water bottles, zip loc bags, beach towel stack, olive oil pepper onion powder cooking basics etc! ( these items can add $200 to your trip cost easily) . Air conditioning worked so well considering the temps! We were traveling with kids and everyone was impressed and asking to return haha ! Hope this review helps :)

An Airbnb done correctly, at a truly higher level and not just “superhost” in name, means arriving at your destination and feeling like it’s a second home. Steve nailed it on all accounts and as we work our way through Costa Rica, this towers above everything else for value, facilities, access to amenities, and just Pura Vida. Two large bedrooms with king sized beds and on-suite bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchen. Monster tv in case you want to game or veg after too much sun. Steps from Barumis which serves the best burger around and has the nicest staff. 300m from Soulshine which will be one of your best breakfasts during the trip. Use the house bikes to go check out Lola’s and rent their chairs for a day on the beach. Start your morning with coffee or a smoothie and listen to the family of howler monkeys nearby. We rarely look back and say let’s do that again because there is always the next place to go. But that might have changed thanks to Steve’s place!
