Magda and Nate are amazing hosts! The property is beautiful with spectacular views and the attention to detail and little touches the hosts provide lend to a wonderful experience. I was in town for a short time climbing a local mountain and thoroughly enjoyed returning at the end of the long day to a welcoming pristine pool and spa to rejuvenate. Magda and Nate even assisted with returning a clothing item left behind. Will definitely return in the future!

This desert oasis is incredible. The views of the mountains are simply breathtaking and the sunsets are truly amazing. The house is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated and chockful of fun details. Interested in cooking? The kitchen is ready for anything you would like to do from cookware to spices to basic essentials. The seating is comfortable no matter if you're inside or out. Bedrooms are all beautiful with attention to detail in case you forgot something or maybe there's something you didn't think you needed! The pool/hot tub were delightful. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is reasonably convenient to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. We are already thinking of when to come back next year!

Dovesong is an amazing retreat and oasis! I highly recommend staying here as the hosts are beyond gracious and meticulous with every detail. The views are unbelievable from inside and outside. Everything was first class, from the sheets to the towels. Every cooking utensil you needed was there. Very comfortable beds and the layout is amazing. The only problem is we didn’t book our stay long enough.

Magda and Nate have created a truly magical desert getaway that feels like a cross between a five-star resort experience and a stay at a good friend's house. The house is stunning, set up on a hillside with open space behind it and breathtaking views in every direction. We loved starting our days with a swim in the secluded pool and hot tub and taking in the sunsets from the fire pit or the hammock on the beautiful back patio. The location is excellent for day trips to Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs is only a short and scenic drive away. We loved staying somewhere that felt quiet and remote but had easy access to gorgeous hiking and great shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed and more, from ample towels, linens and toiletries to a fully stocked kitchen with coffee, snacks and everything we needed for cooking. There are are so many welcoming touches and hidden surprises throughout the house that made our stay comfortable and fun. I don't want to give away all the surprises because it's fun to discover them yourself, but be sure to open all the cabinets and drawers because you'll find delightful little treats everywhere you look! Finally, communication was excellent and always timely. We felt so welcome and well cared for during our stay which elevated this beyond a traditional AirBnB experience. We can't wait to visit again - Dovesong has a lasting place in our hearts.

Without any doubt you should book with Magda and Nathan. Their property is what Airbnb dreams are made of and so many others often fall short. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating, grownup desert getaway in a fully stocked home, book this now. Since we were the first guests from Airbnb I will leave a long review, but the photos and description of the property were extremely accurate: Magda and Nathan were gracious, kind, and welcoming hosts. They greeted us at arrival to make sure the access codes worked and to help get us oriented. When a minor issue came up, they responded and helped us solve it almost immediately. They obviously put a lot of care towards their house and in hosting. Airbnb needs to make them Superhosts yesterday! The home is just incredible and there was attention in every detail. When you first enter your see the beautiful pool that the house wraps around. We loved soaking and swimming in the heated water after a long day of hiking and exploring. The home was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Any amenity you could imagine was provided (yoga equipment! pool toys! hammock! arts and crafts! games and puzzles!) We just didn't have enough time to enjoy everything. The furniture and fixtures were all modern and comfortable, more like the home of your really cool friends than the often sterile-feeling rental property. The kitchen was fully stocked and had all the equipment you'd need (and more!) The bedding and linens were all cozy and luxurious. The location is on a perfectly quiet cul-de-sac street bordering the desert in the hills above town giving spectacular views from the back patio of both the landscape, the mountains, and the town. It's a short drive to nearby groceries, shops, and hikes, but it was hard to want to leave the house! About 20 min to downtown Palm Springs and 45 min to Joshua Tree. Because this home is so lovely, it would probably not be a good fit for families with small children or folks who don't want to be considerate of other's property. If you don't want to take your shoes off at the door, please look elsewhere. This home is a gem on this site, and I want to keep it that way. I can't wait to stay again!
