The fees to take the ferry to and from the island were $20-$40 each way which we were not aware of. This was an extra expense we were not expecting. When we first arrive, we were told that we would be emailed the code to get into the property. We were never sent the code. During our stay we could not lock the door when we left. The property was cold at night with space heaters in all rooms. There was no air conditioning. During low tide the bay which the property is on becomes a mud pit. (Meaning all the water is gone from the bay). You could not swim on the property due to the crabs and jelly fish. Although it was beautiful to look at during high tide it was not what we expected at all. It was nice to have a full kitchen with all the needed pots and pans to cook. Groceries on the island was extremely expensive. The neighbors were very kind. Overall the property was over priced and not worth what we paid for the experience.

The house was perfect! Secluded and serene, being on the water with an amazing view of the snowy mountains in the background on a clear day. We had a car which made the house the perfect place to explore Bainbridge from. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The house was really cozy, the beds were comfortable, and it had a very oceanside, nautical theme throughout the house that we loved. Peaceful and beautiful location close to all the Bainbridge Island places to visit. it could easily accommodate a family of 4 and I bet a visit in the summer time is just beautiful. there were an abundance of heaters which was very helpful in the chilly mornings. I hope to visit again in the future! The only negatives? Vacasa took hours to respond to questions. One of the room's electrical outlets did not work at all and they were unable to help us. I asked how to lock the house from the outside and no one responded to me until the next day. That was very disappointing and you expect better service from vacasa with the amount you are paying. bad customer service.
