We loved staying here for a family holiday. The view was incredible, in a small and friendly village. The accommodation was spacious and clean with good air conditioning. Highly recommended

The host was friendly and met us within minutes of us arriving. We were in the upstairs accommodation and there was no one in the lower apartment so we had the pool area to ourselves. The apartment was clean with all amenities available. Only one small complaint the plug sockets were all very loose you wouldn’t see that in the UK !

This is a great place to stay in kefalonia. The pictures don't do it justice and the views are incredible. This is an upstairs 3 bed apartment with 2 smaller apartments downstairs with whom you share the pool and the complex area behind electric gates. The family who own it greeted us and offered useful helpful advice and communication throughout our stay about places to visit or checking if we wanted the place cleaned. They are really lovely and we felt looked after. The place itself is spacious and there are 2 balconies with table and chairs at the front and 3 smaller balconies one with a clothes drying area at the back. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The main living room and each bedroom have their own independent aircon. which was a blessing. This was included in the price. I have been to places where you are expected to pay extra for it. There are 2 double beds and a room with 2 singles all of which were very comfortable. There is lots of storage space, mirrors and lamps etc. The shutters were very useful for keeping the heat out. There are 2 bathrooms one with the washing machine which we used more as a utility space as the shower just has a curtain and we had to mop the floor the once we used it, but still useful to have another toilet. There is a further toilet in the communal area if you are near the pool and don't want to go upstairs. The other bathroom was nice and the shower good with plenty of hot water over a small bath which would be useful if you had small children. The pool area was well maintained and really lovely with plenty of sunbeds and seating for all staying. Take suncream rather than tanning oil, which apparently causes an issue with the pool. The area itself is beautiful. Sami is just over a mile down the road and has supermarkets bars and restaurants. Karavomilos is small but does have a few restaurants and beaches. We really liked Agia Efima which is the opposite direction to Sami and maybe 5 miles. We had a car and went all over the island, there were people there without a car who seemed quite happy but I would have felt quite stuck without a car as we were there for 10 days. The best beach we found is very near to Sami, Antisamos beach and at mojitos beach bar there are free sunbeds and snorkels etc. and the beach is so beautiful with watersports if you want a bit extra. This is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay and I did keep thinking that it would be amazing if your friends and family had the other 2 apartments. I had wondered about staying in Argostoli, which we did visit but I think I would have missed out on this lovely place if I had.
