My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, well appointed with everything you could possibly need and more. Beds are super comfy and the house was so clean and the views were stunning. Cris took “Super host “ to a whole new level! He had great recommendations for things to do, places to eat and the history of the surrounding area. Staying here made my birthday extra special, what a great in the middle of the forest.

Cris and Lynda were very responsive and supportive right from the start, and that proved to be true throughout my stay. Everything I needed was provided. It was a very comfortable place to stay. I loved the coffee machine for mornings! The private road is a bit tricky during the shoulder season when it's snowy or wet, but it's easy to park a few minutes walk away on a paved road. Lovely cabin to retreat to every day.

It was a great experience overall! I have no complaints. We got in late and he made sure all accommodations were made so we could easily find the cabin! It is a trek, but my girlfriend and I enjoyed it. The heat was out for a little but it was fixed promptly the next day with no issues. He also had a space heater just in case.

This was our second stay here and we loved it AGAIN. Unfortunately, there wasn't a frozen lake to skate on or a lot of snow, but we found lots of snowshoe locations and had a lovely anniversary few days. We did leave a day early due to the upcoming storms and were glad we did! Cris and Lynda are awesome hosts.

Incredibly beautiful home, view, and area. Visited during the winter and although most trails were closed down, found an idyllic trail up to a neighboring peak within 5 minutes. Amazing price for what you get and an ideal spot for a couple's vacation.
