Great stay in a remote town! Portola is a small place and we didn’t expect much for a stay right in town but this spot exceeded our expectations!

This pace is so cute! Perfect place for us to stay for our wedding weekend, everything was clean and exactly as described. We will definitely keep this in mind for future stays :)

The outside of this home is underwhelming and the back deck was under construction right outside the back door, however the inside of the unit was nicely decorated, welcoming, very clean with an updated kitchen. The owners were sure to warn us about the back deck, which could have been dangerous if someone opened the door and stepped out in the dark without knowing there was no deck there. The home is heated by a pellet-burning stove, which was fairly easy to use but might not be desirable for everyone to use as it required following written instructions and re-filling the pellets several times. Overall this Airbnb worked well for our family of four while in the area for a wedding in Graeagle. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Be sure to be completely vacated from the premises at the checkout time as the cleaning person showed up on the dot! Luckily she was patient while we removed our last items. Also, very short walking distance to the grocery store!
