We couldn't have asked for a more perfect property to stay with our 3 children (aged 6, 11 and 12). A fantastic base to explore such a beautiful part of the country and switch off. Accommodation had everything we needed and then some and the host couldn't have done any more to accommodate us. The welcome gift and supplies in the property were an appreciated touch. The garden and outdoor space is safe and great for kids to explore. The highlight was definitely having Tim show us an hours old lamb, kids got to feed some lambs and we all loved meeting the horses. Value for money was exceptional. Thanks for a lovely, memorable stay...the kids didn't want to leave and nor did we. We'll definitely be back. Thanks.

My auntie and my young son stayed here for part of the Easter holidays. So much to do on the doorstep. Absolutely stunning surroundings extremely quiet. Fantastic place to stay.

Moss Kennels cottage is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are walking the wall and would enjoy the peace and quiet in the evening. Its well equipped, is very comfortable and has a great living room space in which to chill out. Being in Northumberland National Park, you can also get a wonderful view of the night sky. Our host was very responsive and able to answer all our queries.

It is a fantastic location, absolutely perfect for exploring Hadrians Wall, watching the stars or seeing the sun come up. Extremely peaceful with everything you need. Leila made sure the basics (milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread butter etc) were all there. Great place, felt welcome and looked after. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Leila's place as a group of friends visiting ge Battlesteads Observatory. The house was a great base for our flying visit to Northumbria and Leila was a great host giving us really clear check in instructions and local recommendations. A great place to stay if your visiting Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding area!
