This was exactly as the doctor prescribed. Amazing view, right on the beach. Super clean and roomy for a couple. Clean, had all the things you’d need for your stay. Michelle and family were so lovely, helpful, kind, communicative. Would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there and would have liked to stayed longer. it's a type of place that you don't really have to go anywhere else, just relax and enjoy. so much better than staying at a larger place. The pool is lovely and the swimming just walking out from the front is great. Michelle and Ed were very accommodating, even letting us borrow clothes and sandals as the airlines lost our luggage. They really helped make our stay enjoyable.

Michelle was fabulous - attentive, responsive, generous - everything you'd want in a host! She even drove us around (shout out Tuttifrutti!) The cabana was also fantastic - all the amenities gave us so much peace of mind. We couldn't have asked for anything more in a place to stay! The location directly on the beach was ideal. Walk onto your front porch to pelicans chilling in the water. Comfortable loungers along with bikes to get around town and kayaks to adventure out in. Couple things to note - check to see what the status is of the active construction site next door. We unfortunately found ourselves seeking out other beaches to avoid the noise (Michelle kindly hooked us up with Maya Beach Hotel & Bistro - lovely with great food). Plastic rubbish also consistently washed ashore when the water was rougher, and the shoreline is narrow, so not very conducive to long walks on the beach. Thanks Michelle + Ed for helping us make the most out of our babymoon! It was unBelizeable :D

Excellent stay at JJEM Cabanas. Michelle and Ed are great hosts, they were very friendly and attentive to solve our concerns. The cabin is cozy, clean, well equipped and with all the services to have a pleasant visit in Placencia, Belize. The sea view is absolutely beautiful. It is a recommended place for couples or people who want a quiet stay and rest.
