We chose this location for our trip to the snow with our 2 kids. It’s a great location with a perfect view of the lake with easy access to a small beach which the kids loved. It was great having a kitchen to handle our meals throughout the week. Communication with the front desk was very easy through text. Location is great and conveniently located near many ski resorts. Restaurants and Safeway are also a short drive. Things to be aware of are the walls are a little thin so you can hear guests upstairs whenever they walk around. The heater can also be quite loud so if you are a light sleeper like I am you may want to either bring ear plugs or just turn down the thermostat so it doesn’t turn on too many times in the night. Overall we would recommend this place and would stay here again.

For a motel it was very nice. But it reminded me of why I prefer Airbnb. I hadn’t stayed in a motel for many years, and I forgot how noisy it can be, and the lack of privacy with people, bumping their suitcases along outside my door, walking past my window. And being able to hear people walk around in their rooms and use the shower and bathroom at all hours of the day and night. II had also forgotten how motels have bright lights outside that make it hard to have the room dark at night. I think I’ll stick to more traditional Airbnb’s, as I enjoy the uniqueness of them and the privacy and the quiet but if you like motels, it’s a GREAT location and a nice one. Office staff were very accomodating and friendly.

We booked last minute for Thanksgiving. Alex got right back to us and our reservations were confirmed. The view from our room was everything we hoped it would be. We were steps from the beach and the water. The gals at the from desk went above and beyond helping us with a few items for the kitchen. They graciously answered all our questions and made us feel right at home. The fireplace and vaulted ceiling’s were definitely a plus! We may start a new tradition and stay here every year for Thanksgiving!!
