Big house with lots of beds, several living and dining areas and waking distance to grocery store. Otherwise not near anything—not good given the lack of car situation on MV. The picture of the great/family room is a screen porch so unusable when we were there, which was a big surprise. Lots of traffic for a neighborhood and front of house overlooks the garage area/back of another house that is some type of operating business with 4 or 5 cars, painting van, etc. coming and going all the time. Large flock of turkeys in neighborhood were fun to watch. Kitchen and house overall is updated and modern and very nice but beds and sheets were old and uncomfortable, including very thin mattresses with thick toppers to compensate which fell off and hard pillows and bedding that was old synthetic material that had balled up pulls all over and had so much dry static that it was a “lightning show” when you went to bed at night. Thank goodness I brought my own feather pillow with me.

Let's just say I was a busy guest. First I locked myself out of the house on day 2, my host quickly resolved that issue, then we had an issue with the dishwasher, we are still working on that, however the host was more concerned about our safety then anything else, then I left my heated mattress pad on the bed when we checked out and if all goes well my host is willing to allow me to send the postage to have it shipped back to me. This was a great experience. You just never know what can happen while on vacation and my host was always available and willing to assist. I was also surprised that is was two bedrooms downstairs, I only thought it was one so that was a bonus for us. 4 out of the 6 had their own room. Nice place to rent and the people we meet were even friendlier.

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed spending time out on the screened in porch. Everything was clean, great for kids, my boys had so much and we can't wait to hopefully go back again. Communication was great - we were facing a hurricane the last few days of our trip and the host was wonderful and very helpful.
