Overall good experience for a last minute stay. The scenery was beautiful though weather wasn't ideal. Steve was very responsive and ensured that check-in and check-out process was seamless. The only minor issue was the communication, which happened through three different avenues -Airbnb, Email, Text Messages - which became a bit confusing at times. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

A vintage trailer in a beautiful rural setting a short distance from DC. Was a great getaway. And we got to meet the horses. And the chickens.

I enjoyed my stay, i think that the check in was just a bit confusing and i didnt really like that the deposit was a website outside of airbnb. It was a bit confusing but overall a nice stay.

The good stuff: Steve is friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable of surrounding areas, and helpful with recommendations. The trailer is a cute place to stay, the property it is on is beautiful. It is fun to experience figuring out how to put the bed together in a small space and we were cozy enough. Things I wasn't as jazzed about I feel other renters should know: the list of amenities seems to encompass all of the places on the property (trailer+ a few guest houses); when you receive the full house rules it turns out that some amenities are either not available to you as a renter of the trailer (hot tub) or only available for an additional charge (farm tour, etc.). These specifics are totally fine, but the Airbnb listing doesn't properly set expectations- it would be simple to add those details to the description. Reading through reviews there isn't any indication that the morning farm tour costs extra money, for example. Would be nice to know up front through this booking platform.

Mixed experience - Charming surroundings, but several issues. Missing smart lock made it inconvenient to lock the door. Steve added a smart lock 1.5 days before my departure. Refrigerator didn't work throughout the stay, despite attempts to accommodate. Persistent water issue due to a leak, causing limited water supply. Water was replenished but quickly ran out less than 5-minutes of use. Noise from neighboring DJ one night. Limited assistance from Steve when issues were raised, uncomfortable request for a five-star review. Negotiated a reasonable 25% discount. Potential for improvement with resolved issues. Overall, a mixed stay with positive surroundings and friendly hosts, but issues affected the experience.
