J.J. is an excellent host that is making getaways for his guests a memorable experience. This place has everything you need for a large group. Big pool with a hot tub inside the stone grotto. When you aren't swimming, chances are you're in the party room with a bar area, poker table, pool table, shuffleboard table, dart board, and a home theater with reclining seats. There are plenty of rooms/beds for people to comfortably sleep. The check in process is very simply as J.J. gives you the code to the door prior to arrival. All and all, this is a fantastic Airbnb and a perfect weekend getaway for people living in the Chicagoland area. We would book again!

Awesome house and hosts! Plenty of space and sleeping arrangements at the house. Very nice and spacious pool and outdoor area. The party room had a ton to do and we all had a great time. We ran into a couple of problems while at the house, but owners were very responsive. The upstairs shower did not have a curtain or rod, we bought some curtains and left them at the house. The party lights in the upstairs room were not working properly and many of the lights in the house were either dim or not working. Other than those complaints, everything else was awesome and we would very likely come back! (:

The place has great bones and you can certainly have a great time with all the games, hot tub, and pool, but unfortunately it is not maintained well whatsoever. Felt like we were staying in a place that was nice 3 years ago but the repairs and upkeep aren’t worth it because they know people will still rent for the house’s great amenities. There was a pile of last year’s popped pool floaties/rafts covered in dirt and filled with rain water next to the pool when we got there. Pool was filled with months’ worth of leaves and cigarette butts. Weeks’ worth of bird excrement on the outdoor window sills. Busch light cans found under the chairs. Solo cups in a bush. Cushions spread out in back lawn grass. Dart board covered in old hornets nests. No remote to the TV behind the bar in the game room. Large crack in the kitchen window. Dryer was filled with many towels presumably from the last guests. I could go on. But just know this place could be great if it was maintained well. But it’s not.

The place was huge with every activity you could think of. Perfect for a guys weekend. JJ was super responsive and helpful throughout the trip.
