What a great place !!!! made a lot of memorable moments with my family. And host are very responsive and accommodating. I bet this place would be awesome in the summer .

We had a large group for a weekend company retreat for our employees. Communication with Colleen prior to our stay was smooth and very friendly. Check-in was a breeze! We arrived late at night, entered via keypad. They had all the lights on so we could familiarize ourselves with the home right away, along with a note and a variety of sweets laid out in the kitchen for us. So thoughtful and welcoming after a long day!! What a way to start a relaxing weekend! Our crew loved the experience, it was fun to see everyone's reactions when they all started arriving to the property. Plenty of stores nearby, plus Six Flags and Gurnee Mills mall are just 20 minutes away. TONS of amenities were provided! Everything is well thought out, placed in a considerate location and extremely well designed. We loved the Lake themed decor of the home, everything is updated and modern especially the kitchen appliances! There were board games provided, extra linens and pillows, beach towels, extra bath towels, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, toiletries, extra paper towels and napkins, coffee, and water bottles ready to go as soon as we arrived! This property had everything and more which made our stay worry-free and easy to enjoy. Beds and linens were very clean and comfy. Everyone slept great. The AC units in each area were perfect for everyone to adjust temps to their preferences at night. Many from our group enjoyed coffee in the screened patio or outside on the deck in the mornings. Great views overlooking the water, backyard and beach from the lovely outdoor space with plenty of seating there too! It rained on our second full day here, we still had a blast!! It was perfect for family-style dinners, watching movies, and playing games. Tons of seating for everyone. There were even soft throw blankets in a basket that we used for our movie night. Everyone was actually happy that it rained all day so we could stay inside with everything the home had to offer! lol The local restaurants and cafes nearby are all very good. We ordered catering from several including Italian, pizza, brunch, Mexican food. All were top notch. We've created some wonderful memories here spending quality time together and, most importantly, relaxing and recharging before going back home! We would definitely recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Colleen and the North Shore team!
