The cabin was absolutely wonderful in every way. We had a lovely time! The location was gorgeous, the lake (and the walk down to it, as picturesque as you can imagine, getting about was easy, and visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia was great. The town of Ellsworth was very handy. Thanks, Allison and John, for help making our vacation so much fun. I hope to be back sometime. Best to you both.
Enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake home during our visit to Maine. The home was very clean and comfortable during our stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and firepit area. We visited Acadia National Park while staying here, which took around 70-90 minutes from the house to the park depending on traffic. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a scenic getaway!

Gorgeous cabin. Everything I wanted and more! Access to Pond/Lake, kayak, grill, fire pit… some peace and quiet. No TV - get ready to unplug. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

I'm a Creative Director living in Boston with my husband John, and our goldendoodle Willie Nelson. Maine has always been a special place to us, so we decided to buy and renovate a cabin that we now host when we're not enjoying the space ourselves. We're really excited to share a place that we feel is truly special. We love traveling to new places and experiencing local culture and hidden gems; restaurants, antiquing, hiking, fishing, and all things outdoors. We both appreciate great design in the places we visit and hope to bring that through in our own space as well.
