Beautiful cabin ruined by incompetent management. We were out of power, water, phone, and WiFi for multiple days, with no help from management. The manager showed complete lack of accountability and communications, making this the worst Airbnb experience ever. The management said they would look into the urgent issues we raised, but did nothing. For eg, they said they would tell us when the power was back, but w didn't hear any update even till checkout. For another eg, they said the Wi-Fi was out bc of widespread outage. However, when I checked on the provider's website, there was no outage in the cabin's area. In short, a guest had to rely on themselves to figure out basic basic things like power, water, and Wi-Fi, in ritual Maine. This is better summarized as a survival course than a vacation. The owner should consider finding a more fitting manager asap.

This cabin was absolutely lovely, a great getaway from the city. The area is very remote, peaceful and quiet, with an excellent view of the lake and great retro camp vibes inside. Good restaurants in nearby Ellsworth and about an hour from Bar Harbor / Acadia National Park. Hope to stay again!

This place was the ideal retreat for our family of five, including our dog. The two canoes provided by the hosts added to our enjoyment, and the selection of board games provided entertainment for our evenings. Our kids particularly loved having a movie option in their bedroom, which made settling into a new environment easier for them. The location itself is truly enchanting, with breathtaking views in every direction. Witnessing the loon every evening at dusk on the lake was an incredible experience. Although we didn't spot a moose swimming in the lake, our 10-year-old managed to catch a decent-sized bass (we made sure to return it safely to the water). Our children loved the ability to canoe daily, and our Australian Shepherd happily swam after them. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our hosts for graciously sharing their lovely home with us. Every minute of our time spent there was thoroughly enjoyed. My only suggestion is to bring bottled water if you are not use to well.

The property was nice and as described. We didn’t realize how off the beaten path it was with 1.5 miles on unpaved roadway. I would recommend an SUV over sedan to get there. Instructions for the property were clear. Check out was super easy - the best one for an Airbnb so far. We had unusual weather which lead to an issue with the heat but Vacasa was very responsive and got someone on it right away. They made sure it was good to go and we were able to get comfortable. I appreciated how quickly and often they replied.

Great location only an hour from Acadia which honestly is very close for the area. Also only 40 minutes from Bangor where you have bars and restaurants. The place itself was amazing with a big backyard on the lake and 3 bedrooms, full stocked kitchen, and a cozy fireplace.
