Craig's Place was one of a kind, must stay! Amenties and remote-ness lead to a wonderful disconnect with a quick 30 minute drive to Ellsworth for restaurants, bars and grocery stores. You must check out Fogtown Brewey, the pizza and beer were delicious. We were surprised and enjoyed the little touches to fresh flowers, blueberry pancake mix, local suryup, butter and eggs to make breakfast! This airbnb had a cozy living room where we enjoyed looking out onto the lake especially during the night next to the warm fire. It was fun to take out the kayaks and relax on a peaceful and tranquil lake. Craig had a full-stocked kitchen with all of the pans, utensils and gadgets one would need to cook, grill or bake almost anything! I used the the lobster dishes and pot to cook a lobster which his recommendation at Dorr Lobster was tasty and reasonablly priced. The drive to Acaida /cadillac summit road is a quick and easy hour so don't forgot to check out Bar Habor.

Very cute and peaceful little cabin on the lake. Super nice for a getaway, probably even better when it’s warm out bc the cabin comes with kayaks as well. Stocked with everything you could need which is nice bc it is very remote so the closest town over is 40 mins away. Overall I really enjoyed this stay, Craig was a great contact and really made sure we were set for the week. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we could need, even sugar for morning coffee! Cabin is remote and peaceful but only about an hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We really enjoyed everything and can’t wait to come back to experience a different season.

This place is amazing! Very remote and quiet. The views are beautiful and it was so nice being right on the water. We enjoyed the fire pit and spending time on the dock. The house is clean, tidy and comfortable. Every last detail was thought of. Craig is very responsive. Terrific experience all around!

We loved this cozy cottage! It was perfect for our anniversary. So peaceful and beautiful scenery. It had everything we needed and then some. It was newly renovated and so clean and cute inside! There are kayaks and fishing poles to use. About an hour drive to her to Acadia, but worth it! Our dogs loved the lake too. Craig is a great host! He is super friendly and responsive and he made this place a home away from home. You instantly felt at peace pulling up to the property and going in the house. We will be back!!
