Ann’s house was absolutely amazing!! The house was absolutely gorgeous- better than the photos. The backyard/ lake area was a fantastic place to hang out after a long day of exploring Acadia National Park. Ann had so many fun additions to her home including a sauna, corn hole, and a fire area. Ann made sure the house was fully stocked with anything we may have needed and was very responsive. The house is about 20 minutes away from the closest built-up town, Ellsworth, and 50 minutes from Bar Harbor, but the drive is well worth it to be able to stay at such a wonderful place.

Gorgeous location, gorgeous house. Ann was a great host who worked to make this a very welcoming space. My 6 year old daughter proclaimed, “this is the best vacation house ever!” We would highly recommend staying here.

The Lake House hosted by Ann was even better then the pictures. she paid attention to the little details that made our vacation wonderful. If I could give it more stars I would, also I don't usually rent a place twice but I sure would this one. I wouldn't change a thing except book a longer stay next time.

We just returned from the most incredible stay at Ann's Airbnb! The place was even more beautiful than the photos suggested, impeccably clean and well-organized. Ann's thoughtful touch of a welcoming mini snack bar with a sign was such a pleasant surprise. Beyond the fantastic house, the property itself was a paradise. The stunning fire pit, awesome BBQ grill, and relaxing deck made our stay unforgettable. And when our two-year-old accidentally broke a coffee mug, Ann's gracious response of "don't worry about it"! truly made us feel at home. Can't recommend this place enough and you would be a dummy to not book this place immediately if you are visiting Acadia and willing to make the drive to Beech Hill Pond (it's a small lake - don't let the name fool you!)

I’m sure there will not be enough space here to say how much our family enjoyed Ann’s place. Our biggest regret is that we did not leave enough time to enjoy this special place! My family said it is the best short term rental and to date we’ve stayed in 35! The setting is peaceful yet filled with all you could want for fun! We enjoyed one of the two outdoor fire features each night. Ann supplied s’more supplies for the fire pit lakeside. The upper deck with the glass rail makes it easy to enjoy the lake from the moment you pour your coffee! We enjoyed cooking every night. Ann’s kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to keep it easy or enjoy a complex meal. Plenty of everything. The beds and linens make for a restful night’s sleep. The bathrooms are up to date with anything you might need or have forgotten. Her communication, even on a holiday weekend was always very fast. If you’ve made it this far, book Ann’s place. You’ll be so glad you did!!
