Tim's rental worked out very well for our large group. There were a lot of amenities that kept everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit with seating for all. The views were spectacular and the setting was tranquil. What it was lacking in, however, were the quality of the towels (they were thin and old), not enough utensils for the amount of people it would hold (we were constantly washing, in order to have enough), there were not extra blankets for the beds (especially for those in the unheated former garage), there was only one throw blanket in the house, and the dryer required three cycles before clothes were dry. We would stay here again, definitely, but we would come prepared to fill in the aforementioned holes in the quality of the rental.

We were a party of 8 adults celebrating milestone birthdays. Tim's place is absolutely gorgeous. We had a few rainy days but that didn't matter at all. Lots of fun inside the house with a games room equipped with a pool table, ping pong, fooze ball, plenty of books to read and board games. The view of the lake is so peaceful. We went kayaking one morning and drove over to Bar Harbor for lunch. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are not that far away. We hiked one day in Acadia and back to Bar Harbor for shopping. Perfect mini vacation.

We had a great time at the house. The weather really set the stage for a beautiful family vacation. The entire week was sunny and 72 degrees. Without that it would have been more difficult to enjoy kayaking, hiking, fishing etc. in the outdoors. The lake was peaceful and the house spacious and the surroundings very quiet. Just what we were after.

Tim’s property is beautiful, and serene. The beach overlooking the lake was an amazing view. The property is very quiet and peaceful, but it is not too far from amenities. Tim was a great host and was responsive to any questions. The hose is well outfitted for a comfortable stay. There were 7 of us in our group, and we all agreed we would come back for another stay at Tim’s place.
