The historic cottage was perfect for us. Its small and sparse but super comfortable. The location is ideal. Walk out your door and you are on the beach. Perfection.

Outstanding classic ‘old Florida’ cabin right on the beautiful beach with an ice cream & hamburger stand 5 minutes walk from the door (and an outstanding French bakery a Mike down the beach. There was a glitch with our reservation and Joan fixed it so our stay was better than it would have been without the glitch. Great host!

This is a hidden gem. It’s a quieter section of beach, away from the crowds. The location is hard to beat, especially if you have children. The place has everything from beach toys to chairs and it’s so easy to run back and forth. We loved the veranda for beautiful sunsets and the convenience of being able to escape the heat of the day. The kitchen is small but has everything you need and there is a nice little restaurant right next door. Joan is super helpful and helped with a few issues we had. One of the best locations I have stayed in. Book early it fills up fast!

What a gem. We felt so lucky to have secured a few days at Joan’s place, which is typically fully booked. Our family of 4, with two 4 year olds, felt right at home. The location right on the beach is truly AMAZING. Just the right amount of privacy from the public beach, but close enough to zip over at a moment’s notice. It was super windy the first 2 days we were there, but the backyard has lovely trees which blocked the wind, and made the backyard (which is a sandy private beach area) a completely different climate than the public beach, thankfully! There were beach toys, balls, chairs, boards, etc. all available to us. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Joan was lovely, and very proactive and responsive. I only have great things to say about our stay and hope to visit again in the future!
