Chris and Sharon were the best airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. They are so kind and generous towards their guests, I was in awe by them. They were also extremely flexible with our check-in and check-out time. The hosts took us down to the cabin on an RTV, showed us around and even offered us their extra warm clothes because it was quite chilly that weekend. My friends stayed in the cabin next to us and Chris literally gave my friend the coat off of his back. The place itself was so cute and peaceful. We had our own fire pit and barbecue right next to the cabin. Also, I’m not quite sure how, but the fire wood they had available was bone dry, even after days of rain. I feel like the amenities listed on the airbnb page didn’t do the place justice. They had everything. The cabin itself was well constructed and extremely spacious. My friends and I had such a fun time and felt so welcomed by the hosts. I will definitely come back to this cabin and would recommend this place to anyone!

This is our favourite spot to visit! We have booked 4 times now, we enjoy our stay everytime! Chris and Sharon are amazing host. We have been returning every year since we found their little peaceful cabin! Book your stay! You will not be disappointed!

Where to begin with this amazing cabin and hosts. I took my spouse to this quaint little cabin for her 30th birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother or nicer experience. Booking and communicating prior to our booking date was very responsive as well as helpful in ensuring all the details were set in place for our arrival. The hosts were fully accommodating to my special request to ensure this surprise was what I had hoped for my spouse. The cabin itself was beautiful with stunning views of the muskoka river, creating lots of opportunities to catch a glimpse of wildlife and amazing sunset upon their very well kept dock and land . The cabin came equipped with everything we needed and more and surpassed expectations in every way possible. The hosts are both very lovely and kindhearted people who have taken pride in their home and land. If you’re looking for a little spot to connect to nature and one another with lots of land to explore this gem is for you .

Chris stepped in this time for his wife; he is extremely kind and helpful. He was flexible and responsive when it came to arranging pick up/drop off times with our belongings, and very eager to help us load/unload stuff. Moreover, he's a pretty charismatic guy and had lots to chat about in our few brief interractions. Upon arrival, he gave us a quick house tour, going through the function/location of everything. The cabin and site genuinely have everything you could ever need - small things like firestarters, cadboard, pokers, local guide brochures, board games, on top of all the essentials of course. Everything is clean, well stocked and felt like it was put there with purpose. If you need supplies while you're here, your best bet is probably Bracebridge (groceries/drinks/gas). Chris&Sharon's place is quite nice itself, but if you're looking to go hiking it's also in a great location, 30 mins to 2 hours away from dozens of trails/parks/falls. We look forward to visiting again!

My husband and I rented cabin 2 for a weekend. It was our first time away from our kids in six years so I was quite nervous. Sharon and Chris were beyond kind, friendly, warm and welcoming. We truly felt right at home which helped ease my worries about being away from our kids! Every part of our stay was perfect. Every detail had been considered from our booking right until our check-out. Affordable price, beautiful grounds, cozy and adorable cabin, beautiful trails, free firewood, flexible check-in and out, strong communication...we honestly can't say enough good. We look so forward to going back and would e courage everyone to stay here. Thank you so much for giving my husband and I a beautiful peaceful place to recharge, rest and reconnect!
