Angela's place was great! She was incredibly communicative during the entire process -- from booking, to the stay, to after the stay. She was attentive to anything we needed. The home was as described and the perfect location for our trip.

Ellie's River House was a great place for our family to gather for Christmas. The house accommodated our family and the views of the James River were wonderful. The house had everything we needed (even a Christmas tree and decorations!). Angela was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

We LOVED our stay - it truly felt like a home, and there was plenty of space to have quiet time and also gather as a family. We traveled with one set of grandparents and two kids, age 6 months and 6 years. The Master bedroom has a gigantic closet, which was perfect for a pack and play (with space to spare!). The grounds are beautiful, and the kitchen has everything you need. We used Instacart a few times, and had groceries and alcohol delivered quickly with no problems. The upstairs family room was well-used - We all loved the photos and historical touches throughout the house; it made me feel close to the family who owns the house (I wish we could meet them!). We travel often, and this was one of my favorite homes we've ever stayed in. Can't wait to go back next year.
