This is the second time we have stayed at this location and will be back next year. Private location with everything you need in this large, multi bedroom home. Kate was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Location was perfect between North Liberty and Iowa City.

Private, amazingly beautiful home! It was perfect for my daughter’s bridal shower/ low key bachelorette party! The home had everything we needed and more! From quality bathroom necessities to the handmade quilts for every room! I didn’t want to leave when all of the guest went home! In fact my daughters and I stayed 2 hours later than everyone else because we enjoyed the beauty and comfort of this incredible home! Kate even had homemade muffins waiting for us upon arrival! Could not have asked for a sweeter hostess who thought of everything! Highly recommend Kate & Laurie’s place! ❤️

Finding a space that is large enough and comfortable for a group is difficult in this area. Kate’s property is a gem! This was my second time staying at this gorgeous home. Our group of knitting ladies spent an extended weekend enjoying the spacious luxury of The Dubuque Homestead. Since each bedroom holds multiple people, Kate provides fans and sound machines. The bedding is high quality and the beds are very comfortable. Even the 2 futons (3 season porch and office) are nice to sleep on. I challenge you to discover any item that the kitchen doesn’t have. We fed a group for 4 days and had plenty of room in the kitchen fridge. We used the large fridge in the bar area to keep our beverages. As a group of crafters, we especially appreciated the large work tables and plentiful lighting in the basement area. And, since a pivotal basketball game was airing, we fully enjoyed the comfortable seating area with large tv in the basement. We will be back!!! Thanks Kate & Laurie!

Kate was an amazing host, went above and beyond to support my trip and the home was just incredible! The hand made quilts reminded so much of staying at my own grandmothers home growing up. 10/10 would book again in the future!
