The host and harun da treat you like you are family, and at the end of the trip you feel like not leaving the place. The cleanliness is of top level with a huge bathroom and big comfortable bed. Everything they have is of top quality. But then every hotel does that. What seperates them from all the places out there is "HOSPITALITY". They treat you like family and by the end of the trip you feel like your actually part of the family. The way they speak, the way they take care of your needs, all that. After staying 7 days in Puri my evening schedule was basically go to beach at 6 come back by 8 then sit with harun da and kuni ji and chat for hours and hours. It was my first trip in Puri and the homestay was responsible for making it a great trip with lots of happy memory. I will try to visit again and will stay with them and will recommend everyone I know. Beside all that I had an experience which might not be common but it says a lot about them. So I was staying with my family and all of sudden my mother got sick, the host and his wife helped me lot with arranging a docter to guiding the docter with navigation and with language translation. From that day they regularly checked on my mother about her health. Tip- don't go out for tea, harun da makes the best tea, hours and hours of chating is on the house.

Great location and hospitality by both, Kartik and Harekrishna. Accessibility is a great asset for Susila Nivas. True to its name, it is a homestay.
