We had a great stay! We brought paddleboards and used the canoes. Lightly stocked kitchen, you can get away with some cooking. Great restaurants in white stone, topping and deltaville. Definite small town feel. T mobile doesn’t have great service in the area. Verizon was just fine

We had a great vacation here! The house was beautiful. Bath and beach towels were provided. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows are cheap so you may want to bring your own. Each room has a powerful fan to keep cool (the a/c had a difficult time keeping up with the heat so the master bedroom was warm. Loft was HOT) so that was appreciated. The place was very clean. We met the woman who cares for the property, she was very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful! The provided kayaks, paddle board and various tubes and floats added a lot of entertainment for our kids. The water was very clear, sand was soft. They also provided dry firewood for the fire pit. A few things to note. Wi-Fi is really unreliable. A step stool in the bathroom would be helpful for kids (my 6yo couldn’t reach the faucet). Glass coffee mugs (rather than plastic) would be nice and maybe better quality silverware as well (it’s painted silverware and is chipping) Would recommend in the future.

The view is beautiful. The sandy beach was enjoyed by both very small children and adults. There is also plenty of shade near the water as well. I did not realize this Air BNB was a wing off of a large house. I would have enjoyed having a stove.

Sunrise, kids took the dog out to play on beach and swim in the clean shallow water. Coffee on the beach, boats, jumping off the dock, picnic lunch, headed into town to see friends, a couple of drinks at the TiKi bar a few miles down the street. Sunset, laughing at nothing, looking at stars over the end of the dock. Wake up, sauna, jump off the end of the dock into the cool water. Sit in the shade. Repeat. Where are we? I have spent much of my life going to friends’ houses on the Northern Neck. I even had an amazing house for the summer just right up the street. This property stands out. So there is large sprawling house with two rental units on each end. It’s was nice to have renters in the opposite unit. It made you feel welcome and not just in a house on someone’s property. Not over decorated - just great to live with the essentials. Foosball and shuffleboard. Big couches for lounging. Definitely will recommend this to friends and family. We hope to come back.
