Grace was an amazing host and was very responsive! The Airbnb location was great and local to everything around in downtown Dallas!
Overall had a decent stay there we’re just a couple of things that made me weary of the space. There was an awful chemical smell that was pungent around the apartment. I got home and had to wash all my clothes and things because the travel smelled with my whole group. 10/10 incredibly unpleasant scent and I’m disturbed to think of what chemical was used that it permeated clothes, hair, luggage, etc. Didn’t realize lots of folks were there to party and at around 3AM every night people were shouting down the halls or slamming their doors. There was even someone who slamming our door one night. I found that the check in and check out process was super involved, more than I’m used to when staying in an Airbnb. But the host was very nice and responsive. I don’t think this was the right space for me and my group especially since we are not party folks. Decent location if you’re in Dallas to have a good time and close to downtown if you have a car.
The apartment is nicely decorated , things to consider… there is only 2 comfortable seats for a two bedroom apartment. A “spare” double bed in the lounge area is unnecessary and inconvenient for 4 guests to relax in the one room. The apartment & building has a strange pungent smell, which really bothered two of our party. The amount of homeless outside the building made the ladies in our group feel unsafe to go outside at night or early in the morning alone. The apartment is central location to downtown which is great for monuments etc , hindsight we would probably have stayed in a different area outside the city for the places we ended up seeing. The apartment beds are comfortable. The ladies commented that a chair in the bedroom would have been nice . There are no opening windows in this building which may be a negative for some people. Overall our stay was fine for a few days .
