Cook breakfast in our chef's designed kitchen before heading out to the dozens of local hikes, waterfalls, shopping & winery experiences. And when you're done, relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit with your loved ones gazing at the stars. The house comes with a Master bedroom (queen memory foam), Second bedroom (queen memory foam), has a brand new couch that transforms (full), and an extra bed in the nest for single sleepers (twin). Conveniently located on the outskirts of downtown Blairsville, you'll be provided with a locals treasure map of the area. Meek's Park & Trails - 5.0 miles Ingles Supermarket - 6.1 miles Odom Springs Winery - 6.2 miles The Sawmill Place - 6.7 miles Nottely Lake - 8.5 miles Vogel State Park - 13.8 miles Crane Creek Winery - 16.4 miles Blue Ridge - 20.6 miles The house comes equipped with smart home technology (apple homekit) which allows our guests to use the thermostat, lights, door locks, and speakers with the sound of your voice. The hot tub was purchased in 2021 and is brand new, we'll provide instructions for how to use. The outside fire pit area is a beautifully relaxing way to stay warm on a cool night. Firewood is recommended to be purchased before arriving at the many stores or side road stands. The indoor fireplace is fueled by propane, just turn it on and enjoy. The outdoor grill is a brand new Weber with 3 large burners and extra propane. There are 4 yoga mats, blankets, blocks and cleaner for guest use. We also have a partnership with an amazing local masseuse, if you're interested we can even schedule a massage at the house. We enjoyed a Girls Weekend at The Black Birch with three adults staying at the property. I've rented many places over the years and I must say that the attention to detail and customer service at The Black Birch is the best I've ever experienced. The house was clean and cozy. Everything in the house was modern and new. Again, the attention to detail was remarkable! Thomas responded immediately to my questions. He has created YouTube videos to walk guests through all the inquiries from using the hot tub to lighting the pilot light on the fireplace. The house is tucked back in a neighborhood with narrow streets and a dirt road so I suggested arriving while still light outside. The beds were very comfortable and the towels where plump. The decorations created a very peaceful ambiance. I loved the live plants scattered throughout the house. Having SIRI to play music and answer questions was terrific. No microwave so plan meals accordingly. Overall, five stars!
Overall a wonderful stay and experience. Thomas was very responsive and helpful, and the home itself is perfectly cozy and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.

The Black Birch is a beautiful haven for much needed rest and relaxation. The attention to detail and plethora of special amenities made for a remarkable stay. Thomas is an incredible host and offers exceptional hospitality. We would love to return again to charming Blairsville.

The neighborhood is conveniently located off of the Blue Ridge Hwy. There are two ways to enter our street, for the scenic route enter through Hidden Lake Rd, for a more direct route use Hamilton Rd. Please note that Wilson Way is a dirt road, but it is relatively flat and does not require any 4-wheel drive. However, the lower driveway is a bit steep and if wet or icy we would recommend using the upper parking lot located near the Black Birch signage.
There are two parking areas, an upper and a lower. We recommend that our guests park in the upper lot for easy access to the front of the house.
