Beautiful mountain lodge located in the mountains of Blue Ridge in a private gated community. Lakeside Retreat is situated on 2 acres mountain side with 5 decks overlooking a private stocked lake and small pond! Enjoy views of the lake from every level of the log cabin, your own dock for fishing, launching a kayak/canoe/pedal boat (provided) or just relaxing by one of 5 fireplaces and watching the sunset. Located only 10 miles from downtown Blueridge.

What a lovely stay! The lake was so beautiful and peaceful and the kayaks were easy to get in and out of the water. The house is just so cozy and there is so much to do that we didn't leave the house to go anywhere for 3 whole days. Not to mention the checkout instructions were extremely minimal. Some places have you do 10 different things before you can leave so the minimal instructions were very nice for such a big house. We would definitely come back!! Only thing to mention is that I'm thankful I drive an suv or I'm not sure a regular car would make it through the drive way.
Kristen was a great host. I needed to reach out to her at the beginning of our stay, and she responded very quickly. Her home is amazing. My kids loved it, and didn’t want to leave. To me, that’s a win! I would definitely recommend Kristen’s home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
We had an amazing time and loved the Cabin and surroundings! So beautiful!!
