We loved staying here. It was very peaceful and private, and had all of the amenities for a long stay. Joon Hee was very communicative and accommodating. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Loved our peaceful visit here! It’s such a great location because it feels rural but you are close enough to Hilo and also not too far from Waimea and the north parts of the island. Walking into Honomu town in the mornings for coffee and bakery goods at Mr. Ed’s Bakery, I highly recommend! The bed and pillows were super comfy. I’m sensitive to chemical fragrances so I appreciated that the linens were washed with a natural detergent. The kitchen setup had everything we needed to make meals. The coqui frogs are unavoidable on most of the island so either sleep with ear plugs or just let the sound lull you to sleep. Very few airbnbs that I would book at again but I would stay here again! Very nice place worth lots of extras. Great location at a great price. Joon is a an excellent and accommodating host! Can't go wrong!

This cozy abode was a comfortable sanctuary during our winter visit to the Hilo area. This rural location is surrounded by nature and the fruit-bearing foliage provided both privacy and fresh lilikoi.
