I was in San Saba to visit family , the cemetery, and my old stomping grounds. The BlueMoon worked very well for a common meeting place for my in-town family and for those of us who came in from out-of-town. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make and eat our family meals, and to put up leftovers. We also enjoyed sitting out and eating out in the back covered patio - It surely helped that the weather was fantastic for being outside! Inside we had plenty of room to stretch out. We made good use of the living room and television, as well as the dining room where we played family favorite games. There was plenty of seating for everyone, and plenty of room for us to comfortably move about. I will definitely be checking the BlueMoon's availability on my next visit back home to San Saba!

Irma was an incredible host. She checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. She dropped by to deliver more bottle water for the coffee maker and had yummy treats available for all of us. The most special all was the gift of a toy truck with a trailer and tractor for our grandson. He loved it and gathered trig "logs" that he loaded on to his new truck and trailer to haul around the patio. It was truly a hit and greatly appreciated. We were a family of 5 + babe. The place worked well for us, thanks to the outdoor space. Living room and dining area would be tight if it was too cold to be outside. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed exploring San Saba.

We really enjoyed our stay, it’s cozy, clean and peaceful. We have a family of 5 and all the kiddos enjoyed the stay as well. The host had little treat with chocolate pecans and cold bottles of water in fridge for us, Irma was very responsive to all questions we had and very accommodating when we needed a late checkout and she went above and beyond retrieving left items such as my daughters iPad charger. We have stayed with these host before and always have the same great and fun experiences. We will stay again in future.

If you’re looking for a house to stay in within the surrounding area, this is your place. A very clean house and the customer service was top notch. We were here for an ultra race that my wife participated in at Colorado Bend State Park. Perfect location if you’re planning on visiting the park.
