Perfectly located home, walking distance to the Pacific Ocean, little beach town shops, cafes and restaurants. Great area and close drive to Oregon coastline MUST SEE’s like Depoe Bay, Cape Perpetual and Yaquina Bay lighthouse and tide pools at Cobble beach. We enjoyed our month stay. Brian was great, very responsive and had some great local recommendations for us! The house has old charm with a modern flare and has everything you need for an extended stay and to cook a family meal. I already miss the comfy reclining couch! We frequented “The local Scoop” ice cream shop that was dangerously close to the house. Loved the area and how much there was around to do with kiddos!

Great location! If you need close to the beach and local in town this house is perfect. The Nye beach and cute downtown is just a few blocks, library right around the corner, walking distance to pizza, ice cream and grocery store. Our favorite was the super comfy living room couch and huge TV, large dining area for holiday stay. The upstairs with lots of beds is awesome! Has some old house quirks that you have to get use to, the main bathroom has no power outlet for a hairdryer, can’t run two appliances in the kitchen or it pops the breaker, windows need replacing pretty badly. The owner was very quick to fix the dishwasher that stopped working so that was very much appreciated. He was quick to reply except when I mentioned old stained mattresses that we just slept on for the 3 month stay. With our huge winter storm that hit he let us stay another night since we lost power at our new place to stay and that was very generous! Overall cozy!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located in Newport to access the beach and the bay. The house was very well equipped from the kitchen to linens and supplies but just could use some updating on a few things and was a bit rough around the edges.
