Was such a beautiful location, amazingly built, very extravagant, close to the ferry so not far to travel and the best bit pet friendly! It was a horrible weather weekend we had but the beauty of that is the whole place is floor to ceiling windows so you can relax inside but feel like your outside and not have to deal with the wind and rain if it's there. Just from the massive open spaces and so much glass it really brings everything to life! We had the best time and would not hesitate to go back! Many thanks Loui

I booked this place as a gift for my parents and they absolutely LOVED it. Everything was perfect. We wanted a beautiful space to play the piano and you could not get better than this! The sounds, the scenery, the location were all amazing. The place is even better than what you see in photos. They did not want to leave. I would recommend David’s place to anyone! David was a great host and excellent at communicating. If you are looking for the perfect getaway in Tasmania this is it.

Unfortunately when we arrived at the house only one lock worked so we had to try 3 different doors to get in. All the other key pads are out of service. It then went from bad to worse when we realised the place was in really bad state…. It was so dirty we had to put all the crockery, glasses and cutlery through the dishwasher before they were safe to use. Everything was dusty and greasy in the kitchen. The oven was such a health hazard we couldn’t use it - when it’s so remote in the island that made cooking for the family challenging but we did enjoy cooking baked potatoes in the wood burning stove. The house could be stunning if it was taken care of because the location and view is outstanding. I would advise anyone booking this that you ask the owner to prove they have fixed up the issues and they have done a deep clean. It’s not cheap and for the price we feel totally ripped off. It really is gross there.

Loved this house so much we extended our stay. It really grew on us. Loads of room and storage. Easy access. Beautiful view. Fantastic bath. Lots of firewood. Host was very responsive and helpful. House feels a bit unfinished and had a few maintainance and cleanliness issues otherwise we would have given 5 stars. We'd happily stay again.
