This was probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. I never normally opt for a room in a house and prefer to have a different space to the host, however Vanessa was amazingly accommodating, we felt at home, left me and my partner to do everything alone and was the perfect balance of hosting and respectful to not be overbearing. Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious and clean and the village is beautiful. It felt like a genuine bnb experience. We can’t wait to return to explore Nun Monkton further. Ps the taxi service around is top tier if you like a drink and can’t drive to the station to head into York. Ty!

Fabulous location and amazing setting. Superb, warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Vanessa during our stay. Excellent breakfast All round fantastic host, just a delight to be around

we had a lovely stay 2 night stay at Vanessa's and visited the Yorkshire heart brewery for the music night and vineyard tour. Vanessa made us very welcome, we got a drink on arrival. which we were glad of ...and a breakfast each morning. bed was very comfortable, thanks for letting us stay in your home in such a peaceful village.

Vanessa and Jonny were the perfect host and made us feel at home during our stay. We ate at the Alice Hawthorn on the first day and did the Yorkshire Heart vineyard tour on the second day, both walkable from the B&B. The village was very peaceful, we did a short walk to the river too. The breakfast was just right too. Thank you for making it a very enjoyable weekend.
