Lovely few days away in Sam's place, nice little place and well decorated. Sam was very helpful and responsive and location meant it was easy to access the Lakes. Kitchen was small but well equipped. Gorgeous bathroom! Only issue was the breakfast bar stools meant it wasn't very comfortable to eat/sit at in the evening, but otherwise a lovely place 😊

A peaceful location and tasteful decor were the strong points of this AirBnB. Whilst we had a nice time, a lack of attention to detail let it down. Such as in the kitchen, the teabag canister being empty except for 1 teabag, only 1 wine glass, a small variety of drinking glasses, an empty hand soap bottle in the bathroom with no replacement, a broken toilet brush, a lot of cobwebs throughout the property, multiple areas of wall having extreme damp/water ingress, underfloor heating in the bathroom didn’t work, the WiFi was very bad, making streaming via the TV impossible. However, the bed was comfortable (although creaked noisily) stunning views and the property was comfortable and warm. The property wasn’t a bad experience, it just wasn’t quite as nice as we had hoped and we probably wouldn’t book again.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest before exploring the Lakes, this is the perfect spot. Sam is a very nice host and will answer any of your questions. The place is really comfy, warm and clean. The bathroom is perfect and the bed so soft that it will make you forget all of your problems. Be aware that you will probably have trouble finding any signal or internet inside the house, but there is plenty of it outside if need be. We spent a few days there for our first time around and will definitely come back, hopefully in the same AirBnB. Thank you Sam for your help!
