I highly recommend Ponnappa and Raina’s place to anyone seeking a change from hustle and bustle of the city. My family and myself brought back priceless memories - savouring sights and sounds of nature, deep and engaging conversations, a ring side view of the harvest season bustle and best of all - the food. Raina’s cooking is divine - to say ‘every bite was a delight’ would be an understatement. This was in every sense a homestay..we truly felt at home. I am immensely grateful for an enriching stay

Shri Ponnappa and his wife and son were very good hosts. Ready to resolve any issue, very responsive and friendly. Clean rooms and bath rooms and clean linen. Food was great with good tase and hygenically served. If you are particular about any food or variety inform them ahead and they will arrange it if needed. Flappy the dog also was a great companion. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay as it was different from a hotel stay and surroundings were superb with plantation and absolute silence. Great value for money and would recommend others to go ahead with the booking. One room is with one double bed and another room with one double and one single bed. We will definitely stay again if we visit coorg and recommend it to our friends as well. Thanks to Mrs Ponnappa she is a good cook and we thank her for the interest and care she took to serve food as per our requirements.

Nested in a private coffee estate it was Nature lover's paradise. The host guided us to the property which was a great help as maps lead you somewhere else. Ponnappa and Raina were friendly, easy to talk to and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Allowed us to use the kitchen to make the baby's food was a great help for us. The dog Flappy is very adorable. Just the power disruption in between our stay was not very enjoyable. The bathroom water doesn't look very clean for some reason. The food they offered had very limited options/no options at all specially the breakfast. It's better to carry something rather than staying hungry if you are traveling from far. Otherwise the home cooked meals were delicious and sufficient in quantity. I hope to find them better in terms of food on our next visit.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at ponappa home stay and it was an absolute delight from start to finish, from the warm welcome to the charming accommodation, every expect of our stay contributed to a truly memorable vacation experience. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that our time at the retreat was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality was exceptional and they were always available to address any questions or request. It was evident that owners takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming and well maintained property. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience, I look forward to returning in the future!😀😀

This is a charming place nestled amidst a lush green coffee estate. It is great in terms of location as it is close to Madikeri town, yet away from its hustle and bustle. The rooms themselves are spacious, with very neat & clean linen and toilets. The screened porch/verandah with shades is roomy and served as a seating-cum-dining area for us. We enjoyed the chirping of birds, the views of the estate, the fruit trees and flowers all around the property. The hosts, Ponnappa and Raina were warm and friendly hosts, always available, and yet not intrusive. Their inputs on tourist spots, better routes etc were useful. The food served was sumptuous, homely and tasty. The flavours of natural ingredients and authentic kodava cuisine was a delight. We are glad to have spent two nights at this property. The ambience, the facilities and the hosts (not to forget their pet dasch, flappy!) made our trip very memorable! Thank you!
