The Thoresby has been described by our guests as a home from home, as you enter the The guest house your welcomed with a big smile from Noel our House Manager, we are centrally located on the North Bay, Peasholm Park, North Beach and the Castle are only 5 minutes, the town is approx 10 minutes. We have many pubs, shops and breakfast bars all a short walk away. Train station is a 15 minute walk, we provide free on road parking with a permit for our guests. Our single room is compact but functional, location on the 3rd floor, bright and offers tea making facilities in the room. Ensuite with shower clean and warm with street views.

Manager couldn’t have been more helpful with communications prior to my visit. He also was there to help me as I had a very early arrival to Scarborough, and needed to be somewhere urgently. My room was exactly as described, and though small had everything I needed for my stay. The location is ideal for exploring the area; there are many cafes and restaurants nearby too. Well done to all concerned
