科林斯堡 · 整套民居 · 3室3床1.5卫 · 可住5人 · The Beautiful 1923 Henry Burdorf House- Near CSU!!
A great opportunity to stay at the beautiful Henry Burdorf House! This 1923 home (one of architect Montezuma Fuller's last builds) is a contributing property in the nationally designated historic district. It’s across from CSU, within walking distance to old town & downtown. Guests have access to the driveway for parking & the yard with patio, grill, & fire pit. The home is gorgeously appointed and has a charm that’s both comfortable and exquisite. Come enjoy all that Fort Collins has to offer!! This historic home includes three bedrooms, dining room, study/library, kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms (the 2nd is a half bath). Three beds are included, but a fourth twin bed can be added upon request (for an additional fee). The home sleeps 5 guests (6 if a child on the couch or an extra twin can be provided for an additional fee.) If you plan to entertain- the dining table can accommodate up to 8 guests, and the study table/desk can also be used for dining. The home has a cozy fireplace in the living room with a big-screen smart TV above it. Appreciate the antique charm of original wood floors, trim, radiators, etc., yet the modern necessities of the updated kitchen and bathrooms.
We were delighted to find this lovely, historical home so close to CSU. It's very welcoming and tastefully decorated with an abundance of personal touches throughout. Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and large dining room are great for entertaining, as well as outdoor dining and gas fire pit area. Off street two car parking was a plus. Sara is a wonderful and very attentive host. I highly recommend this beautiful, well kept home and property.
Sara’s home is gorgeous. It was an honor and delight to stay in this lovely property. The home has character and class and was very comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely return. Sara and her husband are wonderful host and so very helpful and accommodating. Thank you, Sara and Family! God Bless You All!
The home was amazing. Loved the location. Everything was as described and host was so thoughtful and communicative. We will be asking to stay there again for visits to CSU.
The Henry Burdorf house is a model of early 20th century craftsmanship, and an oasis of charm and character in the heart of Fort Collins, seconds away from the CSU campus and minutes from shopping and restaurants in Old Town. Sara and Joseph have brought the house to its original shine, preserving its architectural integrity, while also updating it with modern amenities. Our family of four quickly settled into a routine that felt almost like home. The kitchen was as well-stocked as any AirBnB I’ve seen. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms charming. I can’t recommend the house highly enough. My wife and I said many times that we could spend a month or more there without a question about comfort. Kudos to Sara and Joseph for offering such a lovely space to guests—and for being consummate hosts.
Beautiful historical home with interesting architectural background. Quiet neighborhood with quick easy access to Old Towne, CSU, & other areas of Fort Collins. Sara was always quick to respond with friendly helpful answers. Off street parking available. Easy to navigate ROKU TV and sound bar setup. Bed was as comfortable as my Tempurpedic at home. AC units kept home cool and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.
This home is across from CSU at Remington & Garfield in the Historic Laurel District. A plethora of restaurants are within a mile away (some, such as Cafe Vino, Saigon Grill, and Nick’s Italian, are just a block away).
There’s quite a bit in walking-distance from this property. Of course biking is easy as well, with the bike lanes along Remington Street. The nearest bus stop for free transportation is approximately 5-6 min. away (walking-time).
