Archie and Peter were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was very convenient for exploring the Outer Hebrides. Very clean and tidy. I will be back!

This is a strange review because we didn’t get to Uist. Our ferry was cancelled and so we found ourselves stranded on Skye at the height of the tourist season. What I can say without hesitation is that Archie, the host, was excellent at communicating at all times, being very flexible when there was uncertainty over the ferry and then directing us to an excellent accommodation option on Skye, which saved our trip as everywhere was fully booked. So while I can’t comment on the property, but I can confirm that the host will do all they can to ensure you have a good holiday.

We were warmed welcomed. We expected a purposefully furnished apartment, which we received in part. The floors and the kitchen were clean. The bathroom however, was terrible. There was mold all around the windows. The floor has already detached from the wall. It was stained and moldy behind the wall moldings. For an apartment with three rooms, one hook is not enough to hang the bath towels. The toilet paper holder was rusty and bent. The shower rod was also already rusty. In the whole house there is only one worn mirror in the "bathroom". The view behind the toilet was disgusting. There is nothing in the huge bathroom to place clothes or toiletries on. The washing machine in the kitchen was great. But where to hang the laundry when it rains outside? The clothes horse we found was broken. The walls in almost the entire apartment were stained and already partially crumbling. Based on the other reviews, we have to assume that we were placed in an unfinished apartment.
