Great stay at Jamie’s place. Chalet was lovely, very well equipped and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Location was great just 5 min from the ferry at Lochboisdale and 20 min to Barra ferry. Co op was couple of minutes away and s also hotel serving excellent food. Communication was great and all you could want from host and accommodation.

Really comfy. Well equipped for two. Very clear instructions to find the place but we should have downloaded them rather than rely in phone signal! But Jamie answered our call and put us right! Warm and welcoming with heating on which was easy to control. Highly recommend the coffee cabin Skydancer at the harbour...keep going, it really is there! And Laings car hire was easy and very friendly. Great stay and would happily return.

Excellent space for staying in the islands -- spotless and modern and ideally located for amenities (such as the Lochboisdale Hotel) but also walking along the east coast and access to other islands such as Eriskay. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Jamie’s chalet. It’s in a great location for exploring South Uist and we were delighted to find the Lasgair causeway which shortened our walk to the Lochboisdale Hotel at night. The chalet is very well-equipped and we particularly enjoyed the large sitting room, complete with Smart TV. When, during our stay we needed help, Jamie came out to us in just 15 minutes - he was very kind and reassuring, sorting us out in no time. Kylie was super helpful too, responding immediately to any queries and kindly letting us check-in earlier than agreed.
