We loved staying here and can't wait to come back again. The place has parking and everything you need for a stay, even a little washing machine and tumbledryer. The location is perfect, the town is a short walk downhill (I am dead lazy and managed it fine, haha). You are only 15mins drive from eden project and about 25mins drive from nearest beach or 45mins to Fistral Bay. In Lostwithiel there is a choice of friendly pubs, delicious indian restaurants with veggie options and a coop if you forget anything. There is a train station in walking distance if you dont fancy driving, you walk through to get to the town, you can travel to most places like newquay or truro. We travelled to St Ives, only one change and was easy to do. Mark supplied cooking essentials like oil and cookware, as well as tea, coffee, a jug of milk and we even got some prosecco which was a lovely touch! Honestly if youre not sure, just go for it, we had the best week ever and thats including holidays abroad! :)

beautiful, clean, tidy and comfy! we stayed for a few days and Elaine & Mark were wonderful. very proactive, not only was the place comfortable and enjoyable, there was a thoroughly detailed book with local restaurants, cycle paths, things to do, all categorised by distance. the communication was clear and we didn't have a single problem. we had a very enjoyable stay!

A lovely stay, clean, warm and dry (fresh smelling). Well designed small space with bedroom and lounge area and full kitchen, separate walk in shower/bathroom, small outside seating area for two (didn't use at Easter as a bit rainy) nice to have the option. Not immaculately clean (long grey hairs) . Mark is a friendly and informative host really proactive in his approach. Lostwithiel is OK with some cafés and a well stocked CoOp, not much else. But makes a good base to explore Cornwall from. T&H

We absolutely loved Elaine & Mark’s place. We stayed here for the new year , had a fantastic time. The place was so highly decorated, everything was so lovely. Thanks to Elaine and Mark for the welcome bottle of Prosecco. The lovely touches by having matching dressing gowns. Tea & coffee all provided too. Also great to get to a pub only 2 mins walk away and the centre of Lostwithiel only 10 mins walk away. Where there are other pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you 🙏

We had an amazing stay at Elaine apartment. The apartment is a perfect starting point to discover Cornwall and its gorgeous place. We are cooking lovers and we find here all we need to cook as we like. The atmosphere it’s so charming and we feel like home. Thanks to Elaine and Mark for their wonderful hospitality We hope to come back
