Smiddy is a detached stone cottage that was formally a blacksmiths. With exposed stone walls throughout, this cottage has plenty of character and the wood-burning stove (as well as central heating throughout), ensures that it is comfortably warm. The lawned garden is fully enclosed and also has a private hot-tub for guests to enjoy. Views from the lounge across the pond are perfect for wildlife watching. Dogs & children welcome The open plan kitchen/dining/living space includes a wood-burning stove (with free logs throughout your stay) and a large picture window overlooking the pond. We have provided comfortable sofa and armchairs and a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday stay in Glenshee, whilst taking in the stunning views. The cottage has a comfortable king size master bedroom, a twin bedroom and separate family bathroom with bath & shower. There is central heating throughout the cottage. Outside there are comfortable seats in the garden, as well as a picnic table and chairs in the lawned garden, next to your private hot-tub. The garden is fully fenced, so safe for pets. Please be aware that: - there is a gate from the garden directly into the pond field, so care should be taken with children - there are steps leading from the cottage gate down to the front door, and also internal double steps to the bedrooms and bathroom
