We've now visited Eric's place seven times in under four years. What keeps us going back? Everything! It's the abundant wildlife that lets you spot jackrabbits, deer, quail, turkey, hummingbirds (*dozens* at once!), and countless other creatures — not to mention Eric's friendly dog, horse, goats, and koi. It's the wide vista that lets you soak up the beautiful nature, from the lush garden around the house, to plumes of smoke drifting up from chimneys in the valley below on a chilly day, to rolling hills in the distance. It's the peace, comfort, and beauty of the big red house on the hill, where you can savor moments like having breakfast with an unbeatable view, or warming up by the fireplace after returning from a day out and about. And, of course, it's the friendly hospitality of Eric himself, whose constant care for his home and its surroundings makes this such a special place. So what are you waiting for? Go book a trip and start looking forward to a restful, relaxing time! :)

I would give it a 6 stars but that is not allowed. Gorgeous views, incredibly clean, Eric is a stunning host. My wife and I found this place to be special... PS and if you are interested in gardening, you will meet a pro.

Eric was a wonderful host, very welcoming and kind the second I arrived. He went out of his way to offer many things to make me feel at home. His home is very beautiful and secluded, offering gorgeous views of open land and the hills surrounding the home. Eric gave the tip of waking up for the sunrise and the view was definitely worth it. The goats and horse were definitely a fun perk as well, they have a gate where the goats lie during the heat where I was able to visit them up close. His puppy was my favorite part, Titan is the friendliest dog I have ever encountered, greeting me as I drove up to the house and said his Hellos any chance he could get. This was the best stay I’ve ever had and would definitely stay again if I was in the area, 100% worth your money. Make sure you give Titan all the pets!

Extremely quiet and beautiful. Maybe the best views from any lodging in the area. Clean and comfortable space.
