Maya was a great host, and the unit was very clean. For a 2 night stay it was fine. A few issues came up where the water was out for a few hours, the safe in the Master didn't work, there was a shortage of electrical outlets, and the finishes were a bit dated. The entire resort was very worn looking.

Maya's place was exactly what we were looking for and more within our price range. The views off the balcony were stunning in the morning while we had our coffee and got us off to a great start each day. The amenities on the resort were great! The pool was gorgeous and there were a couple of beaches we could walk to. There was also a grocery store that was a 2 min walk away where we could grab some snacks to keep in the apartment. For digital nomads or anyone else considering a longer term stay, the kitchen is small and there is a stovetop but no oven (with so many restaurants nearby you don't need to cook at all anyway!). Also, the laundry is down on the first floor past the reception desk, not in the unit. It is free and all the machines were completely open and available when I used them at 7:30am so I don't think it gets crowded and is still super accessible.

We booked Maya’s place for the month of March. Very nice vue from the front balcony, the always changing vue of the ocean with cruise ship in the back and smaller boats passing by. The kitchen was useful for our breakfast, we rarely cooked a meal because there are so many good restaurants in sxm. We appreciated having two full washrooms and the rooms are very quiet. The pool amenities was also nice, there are always lots of empty chairs. Bring your Yeti for your drinks, no glass by the pool. Location is wonderful. Bonus very close to French border and drive to Marigot for a French meal. My husband and I will be back next year. Thank you Maya for being very quick in responding to our questions.

The unit had nice furniture and beds. Updates to bathrooms ( rented other unit at the Sapphire before). Great little patio that was very comfortable in the afternoons having shade. Kitchen is small but worked well for our breakfasts and a few meals we prepared. Maya is a great host. Very quick response to any issues we had and we’d be happy to stay again one day.
