The resort itself is very, very outdated and needs maintenance. However, Maya's apartment itself is great and contains everything you need.

Just home from our stay at Maya’s condo in Cupecoy. The location was excellent for us, quiet and peaceful yet, with a car, not far from the laid-back French spots and the lively Dutch spots. First night drinks and sunset at Dany's Beach Bar was a great way to start our vacation. We found everything was just as shown/described in the listing!! The condo was clean and spacious, comfortable, the view was great, and had everything we needed. The resort lobby and pool area were well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. Maya was great in communicating before and during our stay and a wonderful host. We had a great time in SMX and very happy we found Maya’s place. Our only downside is there are so many wonderful restaurants and beaches/beach bars and places to see that we couldn’t do it all in a week. Definitely would like to return to SXM to experience more of the “Friendly Island” and would look at booking Maya’s condo again without hesitation!!

Maya was a wonderful and responsive host. We loved the location, unit, view, fact that she had some beach lounge chairs and noodles and that we had daily maid service. Loved the pool and proximity to Cupecoy and Mullet beaches. Would definitely stay again!
